Dr. Freije, a native to the Tulsa area, is a graduate of Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She has worked at two other practices in town, Acadia Veterinary Hospital and Forest Trails Animal Hospital.
She joined South Memorial Animal Hospital as an associate veterinarian in October of 2007. Then, she purchased the practice and assumed management on June 1, 2008. Dr. Frieje has completed the Canine Rehabilitation Institute's coursework, and is pursuing certification as a Canine Rehabilitation Therapist. She opened South Memorial's Physical Rehabilitation Center in November of 2008. She is currently undergoing acupuncture training for small animals through Chi Institute.
Dr. Freije's husband Lance is an attorney in Tulsa and they have two adorable children, Nathan and Natalie. The family shares their home with a variety of rescues: three cats, four dogs, and a turtle. |
